Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s Nioh 2 was built on the success of the first game, but took a decidedly different direction from the first game. Instead of playing as William, you instead get to create your own character in Nioh 2 thanks to the fairly extensive character creation process. The good part about it is that you have control over your character, but the bad part about it is that it means the story is far less character driven than the first game.
